Academy Outfitters

The Academy Outfitters, run by the SEA Student Council, offers uniform polos, sweatshirts, and cardigans, as well as Spirit Wear and novelties. Items can be purchased from The Academy Outfitters at St. Elizabeth Academy. Throughout the rich tradition of St. Elizabeth Academy, students have worn a uniform to promote unity within the school community. Uniforms encourage acceptance of all students given the wide range of abilities and cultural and economic backgrounds in the St. Elizabeth Academy community. The goal of selling uniforms through The Academy Outfitters is to offer high quality uniform apparel at a reduced cost.

Uniform Guidelines

Excerpts from the 2011-2012 Student Handbook:
1. Shirts: White logo turtleneck and white, navy blue, or red logo polo available only from The Academy Outfitters. Nothing should show through the shirt, nor should a tee shirt be visible, unless it is white, red, or navy blue.

2. SEA Sweatshirts: The red or navy blue 1882 sweatshirt may be worn on any school day, available only from The Academy Outfitters. Other SEA Spirit Wear sweatshirts can be worn over the uniform polo on Fridays only.

3. Socks and Tights: Solid red, navy blue, and white socks and tights are permitted. Socks must show above the shoe and cover the heel.

4. Shoes: Low-cut, brown or black leather-like school shoes. All shoes must have closed toes.

5. Skirts: St. Elizabeth Academy plaid uniform skirt, available only from Catholic Supply. Skirts should be approximately 3 inches above the knee or longer.

6. Pants and Shorts: Uniform pants are available from Catholic Supply. See The Academy Outfitters for samples.

7. PE Uniform: The PE uniform can be purchased through The Academy Outfitters.
